the so-called 'two-bedroom house' had an absolutely deplorable mattress, too soft for proper sleep, not to mention the TV in the lounge, which, surprise, surprise, didn't work. I expected at least a warm welcome or a room upgrade for such inconveniences but was treated like everyone else. almost wanted to give a good review, but just couldn't!

fabulous location and great style, everything was spotlessly clean. the lodge had everything we needed, including a big hot tub that made our stay extra relaxing. we loved how peaceful it was and the short walk to town was super nice. staff were friendly and helpful, always ready for a chat. an amazing place to escape and chill out.
the internet was pretty slow and I wish there were more dog poo bins around. also, the mattress could be a bit comfier.

Family with children delightful getaway
We were greeted by a lovely young couple at the reception who ensured our arrival was smooth, it made our first impression really positive. The hot tub area was fabulous and undercover, making it perfect for relaxing no matter the weather.
It wasn't the least expensive option but worth the experience.

The lodge was a delight, with a spacious open-plan living area and well-furnished kitchenette that had everything we needed. The hot tub was a standout feature, nestled under the decking and overlooking a serene fishing lake—definitely one of the best parts of our stay!
A few issues made it less than perfect. The double bed left much to be desired. the mattress felt too soft for a good night’s sleep. the TV in the lounge didn’t work, and the lack of smart TVs throughout was noticeable. The location also posed challenges, as the nearest pub had limited hours and no nearby dining options were available on Mondays. Lastly, the check-in time at 4 PM felt a bit restrictive, limiting our use of the lodge on arrival.

Perfect getaway with a hot tub
We had a lovely stay! The lodge was super comfy and clean. The hot tub was amazing. Super chill vibe around the park, just right for relaxing. Friendly staff made everything easy. Only thing was the smoke alarm kept beeping during meals, kinda annoying. Would def come back for more good times.
